While I rarely do this and generally much prefer the photos sing for themselves, well, I am being surrounded by love right now and this is the sincerest summary of what it’s all about. These two letters were sent to me this weekend and nothing makes me happier or more grateful to do this for a living. A magazine spread, a blogpost, any other attentions just do not compare. This is all of it. My every reason.

I just regained consciousness from PASSING out upon drooling over the pictures.

Literally, the best money we've EVER spent.

I would do it all again and THEN some. Leah, you have such a gift!

Words cannot fully describe what a joy it has been to work with you over the past year. Your incredible attention to detail and emotion has come through in both your beautiful photography as well as in all of our interactions with you.

As for the pictures themselves, you’ve now left us speechless twice - - first with our engagement pictures and now once again with our stunning wedding photos. We simply cannot thank you enough for all the hard work you put into creating these permanent memories for us – I know we’ll treasure them for years to come. It never ceases to throw my imagination running, wondering what the coffee shop or room looks like where you sit at your computer. Even then, what it would look like if you walked five minutes away from your computer! It's what drives me, seeing your smiling faces in the names above. That being said, if there is anything you would ever like to see of San Francisco, please let me know and I will take a photo (or few) for you! And overwhelming thankful to have clients as amazing as James and Abigail! The video below is the most creative, heartwarming, and romantic invitation I have ever seen. James, who is also a photographer, designed it himself using stop animation. If you look closely you can see he is holding a shutter release. . It really doesn't get better than this!

New feature in Bridal Guide Magazine! Brad and Kristen really deserved the attention considering how many thoughtful and unique details they incorporated into their wedding day. My favorite element was that Brad brewed a tantalizing selection of ales for the reception and the take home gift for the guests was the mug. They named it Bull Shirt Ale because it was this very shirt that sparked their meeting. Kristen had just returned home from Spain and was out in San Francisco wearing her red bull t-shirt. Brad approached her because he had the same one and the rest was love and marriage! There are almost too many things I admired about their wedding day, including the location, Holman Ranch. Kristen surprised Brad with a corsage made of chili peppers, which is one of his favorite treats. This ended up being eaten later during cocktail hour I kid you not! All of the bridesmaids picked their own dresses in various shades of green. Potted herbs on all the tables also became take home gifts and the food was local and organic. Kristen and Brad along with friends and family folded 1,001 silver cranes to display at the wedding, a Japanese tradition representing good luck and prosperity. Also on display, a Japanese quilt made by a friend representing love laughter and joy, blessings for the bride and groom. The final and most hilarious moment was when they were blindfolded in order to cut through a homemade Scandinavian cake. The cake is made of rings and however many you cut through is how many children you will have. The final number... um 11?!! Good luck with that you two!

I am on my way to a Mehndi Ceremony shortly. The wedding tomorrow is a Hindu/Catholic ceremony. My wedding last weekend had two officiants to make a Protestant/Jewish ceremony. I booked an elopement this week and they are eloping because the groom doesn't speak a word of English! My clients are the best hands down. All things love and lovliness are illuminated around them.
